Day One
Arrive in Philadelphia
Upon arrival at Philadelphia Airport, meet an Adventures by Disney representative who will greet your family. Relax as a driver assists with your luggage and whisks you away to the hotel!

Unwind from your journey as your Adventure Guides check your family into this elegant landmark hotel. Settle into the waterfront oasis that will be your home for the next few days.
Welcome Reception and Dinner
Tonight, meet the other families that will share the adventure. Enjoy fine American cuisine at an authentic 18th-century restaurant with our very special dinner host - Benjamin Franklin!

Day Two
Trolley Tour
Hop on board a private trolley on your way to exploring Betsy Ross'
House, the National Constitution Center and the Liberty Bell.
Independence Hall
All patriots are hereby summoned to the Independence Hall of Philadelphia where a local expert will share in-depth knowledge about the historic sites in America's former capital.
Lunch on Your Own
The trolley drops you off for lunch at the Reading Terminal Market. This
bustling, historic famers market offers an eclectic collection of
restaurants, as well as merchant stands full of aromatic baked goods and
ethnic flavors. Your Adventure Guides can point you towards the best
place for a midday meal. After lunch, the trolley picks you up once more
to continue your tour through the City of Brotherly Love.
Liberty Bell
Walk in the footsteps of the founding fathers, learn the story of the
Liberty Bell and immerse yourself in the stirring ambiance of America's
birthplace at Independence National Historic Park.
Dinner On Your Own
Philadelphia is home to some of the finest restaurants in the world.

Depart for Washington D.C.
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel before heading to the capitol of our nation—Washington D.C.!

Kayak on the Potomac River
Feel the freedom as your kayak glides over this rippling river on a privately guided tour of this famous, mid-Atlantic waterway. Rich in history, "The Nation's River" flows between Washington D.C. and Virginia, forming the border between states. Paddle past iconic American monuments such as the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and Georgetown University.

Make yourself comfortable in your centrally located hotel, where your luggage is already waiting in your room. The Renaissance Mayflower Hotel is just 4 blocks away from the White House and is best known as "Washington's Second Best Address," as coined by frequent guest and former U.S. President, Harry S. Truman.

Day Four
Iwo Jima Monument
Salute America's heroes—the men and women who fought and gave their
lives defending freedom and liberty. During a private visit, a local
guide introduces you to the 60-foot-tall United States Marine Corps War
Memorial that depicts the planting of the American flag during the
battle of Iwo Jima.
Arlington National Cemetery
Pay tribute to the brave members of America's military. Arlington National Cemetery is the sacred resting place for over a quarter million members of the United States Armed Forces, including President John F. Kennedy. Witness the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns.
BBQ at Columbia Island Marina
What could be more American than a good old-fashioned barbeque? Round up your family for some down-home cooking on the banks of the Potomac River.
Afternoon & Evening in Washington, D.C. On Your Own*
Explore the priceless treasures of the Washington area! Sneak into the International Spy Museum or visit the world-famous Smithsonian Museums, including the National Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of the American Indian, the National Museum of Natural History and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

Day Five
Monticello
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before travelling to
Monticello, the former home of Thomas Jefferson, author of the
Declaration of Independence, third president of the United States and
founder of the University of Virginia. Situated on a mountaintop outside
Charlottesville on a 5,000-acre plantation, this historic house was
designed and built by Jefferson. Glimpse the life of this intellectual
giant in the halls of his home. His gardens are still a botanic
showpiece that includes an experimental laboratory for a variety of
plants.
Dinner at Your Leisure
Dinner is on us tonight at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel! Have a fun family meal at your leisure.
Disney Movie Night
After dinner, the whole family can enjoy a screening of a Disney film.

Day Six
Travel to Gettysburg
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and board a coach for a journey to the
place where President Lincoln called for "a new birth of
freedom"—Gettysburg.
Gettysburg National Park Cyclorama and Film
At the visitor's center at Gettysburg National Park, see A New Birth of
Freedom, a film with award-winning actors that depicts the historic
battle that heralded the end of slavery. Afterward, marvel at the
breathtaking cyclorama painted by the French artist Paul Philippoteaux
in the late 1880s depicting the Battle of Gettysburg. The cyclorama's
recent restoration was the largest conservation effort of its kind in
North America.
Lunch at Dobbin House Tavern
After stretching your legs, sit down with your fellow Adventurers for a hearty lunch in a colonial restaurant that evokes the sights, sounds and tastes of the 1700s.

Mount Vernon Excursion
Immerse yourself in the life and lore of George Washington, the nation's first president, at his 8,000-acre plantation on Mount Vernon. Marvel at Washington's architectural achievements, delight in the vibrant gardens and revel in the details of 19th-century life as you browse the estate's extraordinary curatorial collection.
Lunch at Mount Vernon
Sit down with your fellow Adventurers for a midday meal at the charming Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, where you will enjoy colonial cuisine and ambiance.
An Afternoon in History
You'll have plenty of time to explore Mt. Vernon as you wish. Before
returning to the hotel, you can take an optional visit at the
Smithsonian.
Farewell Dinner and Special Surprise
Celebrate the spirit of America as your family assembles with fellow Adventurers for a grand farewell cookout. This festive dinner banquet will cap off a week to remember!

Breakfast at the Hotel
Bid goodbye to all your fellow adventurers, wish them a patriotic trip home and enjoy one last breakfast before heading home.
Transfers to Airport
