Day One

Amsterdam

Arrive in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Welkom to Amsterdam, where you’ll experience the culture, architecture and character of this charming capital city.

Transfer to Van Gogh Museum

Meet your Adventure Guides who will take you to the Van Gogh Museum where you will begin your amazing adventure in Amsterdam.

Van Gogh Museum & Painting Workshop

Explore the Van Gogh Museum, home to over 1,000 paintings—the world’s largest collection, drawings and letters of Vincent van Gogh. Learn about the artist’s personal history, see how conservators restored his paintings and get an intimate view of some of his greatest masterpieces, including “Sunflowers” and “The Bedroom.” The museum also contains many works of Van Gogh’s contemporaries, like Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Paul Gauguin, Georges Seurat, among others. Following your museum tour, Adventurers are invited to express themselves on canvas with an optional paining workshop designed to bring out the artist in you!

Jordaan Neighborhood Walking Foodie Tour

Check out the hip eateries that line the streets and canals of Amsterdam’s trendiest neighborhood as your guide tells stories about the area’s fascinating history. You’ll also peruse the stalls at the Noordemarkt Square market, where you’ll sample regional flavors and dishes and meet the local artisans that create them.

Check into Hotel

After an action-packed morning, you'll transfer to the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre for the next 2 nights. Located in the heart of the city and overlooking the IJ River, you’re a short distance from some of Amsterdam’s famous shopping streets as well as the Amsterdam Centraal Station.

Enjoy a delicious meal at one of the hotels dining options or head into the city and discover a new favorite eating spot. Be sure to ask your Adventure Guides for any dining recommendations they have for a local meal that will satisfy your whole family.

Day Two

Breakfast at Hotel

Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before heading out for a day filled with new adventures in Amsterdam.

Delft Earthenware Factory Tour

Visit the last remaining Delft blue pottery factories that utilize traditional 17th-century methods of producing and hand-painting the world-famous blue and white pottery that is synonymous with the region. During the Royal Delft Experience, you’ll journey through the past, present and future of this centuries-old pottery and get a step-by-step explanation of the production process. You will also get a chance to take home a piece of Delftware during your stop at the Royal Delft Factory Store.

Painting Tile Workshop

Following your tour of the Royal Delft Factory, you can show off your new-found knowledge and inspiration to work at a tile workshop where you can paint your very own tile in the traditional Delft blue color.

Lunch in the Town of Delft

Enjoy lunch in one of the local restaurants of this charming Dutch town.

Kinderdijk Windmills & Boat Cruise

No trip to Amsterdam is complete without visiting the windmills of Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is one of the most photographed locations in Holland. Cruise along the waterways on a waterbus for a unique view of the windmills and the surrounding area as you learn the history of how these iconic windmills were built around 1740 as part of a much larger water management system to prevent floods in the region. Go inside the Museum Windmills to see how the windmills work and are maintained.

Farewell Dinner

Bid your fellow Adventurers a fond farewell at a lovely farewell dinner celebrating your magnificent trip to Amsterdam.
