Day One

Arrive in Burlington, VT

Upon arrival at Burlington Airport (BTV), you'll be met by an Adventures by Disney representative who will assist you with your luggage and then drive you to the Hilton Burlington—your home for the next 2 nights—where you'll meet your Adventures who will check you while you explore this lovely hotel located just a block away from downtown Burlington and Waterfront Park.

Welcome Dinner at Hilton Burlington

Gather together and greet your fellow Adventurers at a private, casual welcome dinner at the hotel to kick off your amazing adventure to come.

Day Two

Fuel up with a buffet breakfast at your leisure before heading out for an adventure-filled day in Vermont.

Shelburne Museum Experience

Enjoy a fascinating visit to this museum of American history, art and design. During your half-day visit, you'll discover and explore unique collections and exhibits throughout the museum's 39 buildings, including:

  • Hands-on printing with a 19th-century printing press
  • Locomotive of the Presidents
  • VIP ride on a 1920 carousel
  • And much more!
Lunch at Clemmons Family Farm

Tuck into a delicious lunch featuring fresh, locally grown ingredients. The 148-acre farm has been owned by the Clemmons family since 1962. Your meal will feature items that are based on the African Diaspora, with a myriad of global influences, including the Caribbean and United States.

Clemmons Family Farm Activities & Performance

Join the celebration of African American heritage and multiculturalism through activities and exhibits that revolve around arts, culture and science, some of which feature Clemmons family members along with visiting storytellers, artists and musicians.

Dinner on Your Own in Burlington

Enjoy a casual evening exploring all that Burlington has to offer. Ask your Adventure Guides to recommend a dinner location that will satisfy your group’s appetite, or choose from one of the many restaurants you come across as you walk the streets of this quaint New England town.

Fuel up with a buffet breakfast at your leisure before heading out for another adventure-filled day in Vermont.

Burlington & Lake Champlain Scenic Bike Ride

Take to the trail on a leisurely bike ride through some of the most stunning scenery in Vermont. The bike path, converted from the Central Vermont Railway, is an easy ride that crosses through local beaches and parks and offers spectacular views of the city, Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains.

Spirit of Ethan Allen Lake Champlain Cruise & Lunch

Cruise across the blue waters of Lake Champlain, known as "The Sixth Great Lake," and surround yourself with the beauty of the Champlain Valley accompanied by lively narration. For lunch, you’ll dine on a delicious meal prepared by the on-board kitchen staff and featuring locally sourced, fresh farm-to-table ingredients.

Ben & Jerry’s Private Visit & Tasting Experience

Tantalize your taste buds on this sweet visit to Ben & Jerry's Waterbury site. Learn how the company grew from humble beginnings in a renovated gas station to manufacturing approximately 350,000 pints per day. You’ll visit the gift shop and, of course, the tasting room!

Trapp Family Lodge

Explore the Trapp Family Lodge, your home for the next 2 nights, where you'll experience European-style accommodations and cuisine along with spectacular mountain vistas and upscale amenities. Meet some of the other lodge residents including a small herd of Scottish Highland cattle. You will also get to meet with a member of the von Trapp family.

Adult Dinner at Trapp Family Lodge Bierhall

Head to the von Trapp Brewing Bierhall Restaurant where you will be treated to "a little Austria, a lot of Vermont" as you savor a freshly prepared Austrian meal — much of which is prepared on the wood-fired Parrilla grill.

Junior Adventurer Dinner & Movie Night

While the adults enjoy your dinner, Junior Adventurers will feast on a kid-friendly buffet, followed by a Junior Adventurer Movie Night screening.

Day Four

Dig into a bounteous Vermont country breakfast with all the trimmings — including farm-fresh eggs from the Lodge and "real" Vermont maple syrup — before heading out on a day of adventure.

Vermont Mountain Adventure

Escape from the everyday rush and soar through the wilds of Mount Mansfield on a day at Arbor Trek Canopy Adventures, where you’ll have a morning filled with fun and thrilling eco-adventures. Choose either the Canopy Zip Line or the Arboreal Obstacle Course:

  • OPTION A: Canopy Zip Line
    Get a new perspective as you soar over Mount Mansfield on a high-speed zip line.

  • OPTION B: Arboreal Obstacle Course
    Get physical while you get back to nature on this obstacle course that’ll have you sliding, jumping, balancing, jumping, crawling and swinging through the trees!
    Private Hike & Outdoor Games
    Keep your feet on the ground as you walk below amongst the trees, fauna and flora while you learn about the area’s mountainous eco-system. Plus, play fun outdoor games like horseshoes and disc golf.
Lunch at Local Restaurant

Refuel after your morning adventure at a local spot where you can savor delicious dishes before heading out for your afternoon activities.

Covered Bridges Excursion

Board a private motorcoach for an excursion to see the Vermont mountain landscape as well as some of the area’s unique covered bridges. A local storyteller will join you and regale your group with insights and highlights of the area.

Dinner on Your Own in Stowe Village

Take your pick of a casual dinner at your leisure. You can choose to dine at the lodge's Austrian-style Bierhall or the elegant, European-styled Main dining room, or join an Adventures by Disney-provided transfer into town, where you can dine in any number of local restaurants that range from fine dining to casual burgers and pizza. Your Adventure Guides will be happy to recommend a restaurant that aligns with whatever your group wants.

Day Five

Dig into a bounteous Vermont country breakfast with all the trimmings — including farm-fresh eggs from the Lodge and "real" Vermont maple syrup — before heading out on a day filled with fun and adventure.

Trapp Family Lodge Maple Sugar Shack

Take a short hike to the lodge's Maple Sugar Shack where they continue the centuries-old tradition of making pure Vermont maple syrup. Learn about the sugaring process and enjoy a tasty maple treat.

Drive to Montpelier with Vermont State Capital Photo Stop & Ethan Allen Story

Board a private coach for a drive to Montpelier where you'll stop for a photo op at the Vermont State Capitol Building — a Montpelier icon and the smallest state capitol in the country. The building, which dates back to 1859, is finely detailed and is set against a stunning backdrop. 

While at the Vermont State Capitol, you’ll also hear the story of Vermont’s most famous Revolutionary hero, Ethan Allen.

Box Lunch from Trapp Family Lodge

During the coach drive from Montpelier to Conway, New Hampshire, enjoy a box lunch prepared by the Trapp Family Lodge restaurant.

Mount Washington Historic Cog Railway Ride

Make the dramatic ascent along to the summit of Mount Washington — the highest summit in New England — aboard the Mount Washington Cog Railway, also known as "The Cog." In operation since 1869, "The Cog" is the first mountain-climbing cog railway in the world and the only one currently operating in North America. Once you reach the summit (weather dependent), you'll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view.

Dig into a bountiful breakfast buffet before heading out on your coach ride to Bar Harbor, Maine.

Kennebec River Waterfront Exploration with Lunch in Augusta, ME

Journey through the majestic New England landscapes on your way to Bar Harbor, Maine. On the way, you'll stop in Augusta, Maine's capitol city along the banks of the Kennebec River, where you'll have your choice of restaurants for lunch on your own.

Arrive at Bar Harbor Inn

Your ride concludes at the spectacular Bar Harbor Inn, a historic residence perched on the water’s edge of Bar Harbor, the gateway to Acadia National Park.

Harbor Cruise on the Bailey Louise Todd Schooner

Departing from the Inn’s private pier, you’ll embark on a late-afternoon excursion aboard the Bailey Louise Todd, a 19th-century coasting schooner. During your sail, enjoy a light dinner featuring iconic Maine dishes including savory lobster rolls and Whoopie Pies.

Bar Harbor Exploration on Your Own or Relax at the Inn

Following your sail, you are free to relax at the Inn or explore the shops and sights of quaint Bar Harbor.

Day Seven

Begin your day with a hearty American breakfast in the Reading Room restaurant before heading out to enjoy another adventure-filled day in New England.

Acadia National Park Scenic Coach Excursion

Relax and take in the scenic splendor that abounds throughout the 47,000 acres that make up Acadia National Park. You'll explore the diverse landscapes of woodland, rocky beaches and glacier-scoured granite peaks. Along the way, you'll stop off at popular natural attractions that include: Sand Beach, Jordan Pond, Thunder Hole and Cadillac Mountain.

Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides in Acadia National Park

Climb aboard a horse-drawn carriage and traverse the Carriage Roads and granite stone bridges that were developed and financed by philanthropist John D. Rockefeller, Jr. between 1913 – 1940.

Lunch at Jordan Pond House

Dine in a private dining room at Jordan Pond House where you’ll be treated to a lovely view of the pond, which is surrounded by forests and backdropped by mountains. Be sure not to miss the house specialty – Popovers, which will be included with your meal!

Kayaking Along the Bar Harbor Coastline

Paddle out into Frenchman Bay for an amazing kayaking activity that will take you along the Bar Harbor coastline.

Abbe Museum Visit (Alternate Activity)

If you prefer to stay on land, you can enjoy a self-guided visit to the celebrated Abbe Museum, which is primarily dedicated to promoting the history and culture of Maine's Native people, the Wabanaki.

Bar Harbor Afternoon Exploration

Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the quaint shops and storefronts of Bar Harbor.

New England Clam & Lobster Bake Farewell Dinner at Bar Harbor Inn

Gather together with your fellow Adventurers and Adventure Guides for a farewell dinner at the Bar Harbor Inn — a classic New England Clam & Lobster Bake in a spectacular setting overlooking Frenchman Bay.
