Day One
Fly into Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) where you will be greeted by your driver who will handle your luggage and transportation to the AmaLyra ship.
Check into your home for the next 8 days and 7 nights—the AmaLyra—and find your luggage has been magically delivered to your stateroom.
Meet up with your fellow Adventurers as you toast the beginning of what promises to be an amazing adventure sailing along the beautiful Seine River through the provincial and cosmopolitan towns and cities of France.
Begin your voyage along the Seine River with the magnificent “City of Light” lit up against the nighttime sky as a spectacular start to your Adventures by Disney river cruise adventure.

Day Two
Enjoy a Full-American buffet of breakfast favorites that will energize you for the adventure-filled day ahead. For early risers, coffee, tea and fruit will be available.
Morning Activities Options:
A) Château Gaillard Hike
Reward yourself with spectacular views of the Seine and the Normandy countryside after an exhilarating hike 300 feet (90 meters) above the commune of Les Andelys to the Chȃteau Gaillard, a ruined medieval castle that was constructed in 1196 AD under Richard the Lionheart.
B) Château Gaillard Hike and Bike
For those fit Adventurers with extra energy to burn, get the best of both worlds as you take to the hiking and biking trails. Your bike ride takes you on the trails throughout the provincial town of Les Andelys, followed by a hike where you will ascend 300 feet (90 meters) up to the medieval masterpiece, Chateau Gaillard, for magnificent views of Les Andelys and the Seine.
C) Panoramic Coach Tour
Relax in the comfort of a mini-coach as you take in the surrounding sites of the provincial town of Les Andely on this amazing guided tour. You’ll also take a photo stop with stunning views of Château Gaillard, Les Andelys and the Seine River.

Spend the day on the beaches of Normandy, including Omaha Beach, the site of the famed D-Day invasion.
Honor the brave American soldiers who fought to defend our freedom in World War II on Normandy Beach—the site where an armada of Allied troops landed on D-Day.
Feed your appetite with a delicious lunch.
Following lunch, proceed to Pointe du Hoc where you will visit the location where U.S. Army Rangers scaled the 100 foot cliffs and the historic battle ensued.
Salute the courage of those who made the ultimate sacrifice on June 6th, 1944 at this stunning memorial.

Day Four
Enjoy a Full-American buffet of breakfast favorites that will energize you for the adventure-filled day ahead. For early risers, coffee, tea and fruit will be available.
Take in the breathtaking views as you hike at the beautiful seaside commune and farming town of Étretat, known for its stunning chalk cliffs, which include three natural arches and a pointed formation known as the Needle, which reaches a height of 230 feet (70 meters) above the sea overlooking the English Channel.
Enjoy some time on your own exploring the quaint seaside village which is home to the Notre-Dame de la garde Chapel which was built by sailors in the 19th century, as well as the old market square that is home to a number of charming boutiques and shops featuring local cheese and apple products.

Afternoon Activity Options:
A) On Your Own Time in Honfleur
Spend the afternoon strolling and shopping through the picturesque coastal town of Honfleur, whose Vieux-Bassin (old harbor) has served as the inspiration for artists that include Gustave Courbet, Eugène Boudin and Claude Monet. The town, located where the Seine meets the English Channel, is home to the Sainte-Catherine church, a 15th-century church built by shipbuilders and is the largest wooden church in France.
B) Apple Orchard & Calvados Tasting
Spend the afternoon touring a local apple orchard, where you’ll learn about – and taste – calvados, a sweet apple brandy that is a specialty of the Normandy region.
C) Both Option A & B with Briefer On Your Own Time

You’ll explore the Jewish Quarter, see the Gothic churches, including Cathédral Notre-Dame and walk along the cobblestoned pedestrian center that is lined with medieval half-timbered houses.
During the tour, you’ll also treat your taste buds to a French epicurean delight as you sample some of the finest cheeses and chocolates in Normandy, a region known for its dairy, as well as its small farms and confectioners.
B) Kayaking
Take an inspiring kayak trek, paddling through the scenic countryside of France’s Normandy region.
Take a break from a morning full of adventure and get reinvigorated with a hearty lunch before you head out for an activity-filled afternoon.

Journey into the stunning Giverny landscape on this visit to Claude Monet’s beautifully restored 19th-century home, where he lived from 1883 until his death in 1926. Enjoy a privately-guided tour that includes the lush gardens where the famed French impressionist painter found inspiration for some of his most renowned works including, Water Lilies and Wheatstacks.
Discover the works of Monet and see the influence that his work had on his contemporaries, as well as generations of artists that followed him at the Museum of Impressionisms.
Head back to the ship for a delightful lunch before returning to Vernon for an afternoon of adventure.
Afternoon Activity Options:A) Château de Bizy
Marvel at the ornate castle and stunning gardens that showcase a true passion for elegance. This amazing castle and vast gardens, now a historic monument, was begun in 1740 with successive owners adding their own touches through the years. The gardens boast a splendid collection of fountains and an English-style vegetable garden. During this visit, Adventurers will enjoy an exclusive activity of playing fun lawn games on the stunning castle grounds.
B) On Your Own in Vernon
Adventurers may choose to explore the quaint historical district of Vernon, located on the banks of the river Seine and home to shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as sites like the Old Mill, the Archives Tower, Tourelles Castle and the House of Long Ago.
C) On Your Own Bicycle Ride in Vernon
Enjoy a leisurely, on your own bike ride through the town of Vernon where you can explore the historical district and its Gothic architecture, 12th-century castles and the famous old mill.
Dinner Onboard the Ship
Return to the ship for a lovely dinner where you can share stories of your day.

Day Seven
Enjoy a Full-American buffet of breakfast favorites that will energize you for the adventure-filled day ahead. For early risers, coffee, tea and fruit will be available.

A) Visit Château Malmaison
Explore this exquisite French castle and its accompanying park that was once home to Napoleon and Josephine Bonaparte, as well as the headquarters of the French government from 1800 to 1802. It now serves as a national museum.
B) Visit Auvers-sur-Oise
Get inspired on your visit to this commune in Paris’ northwest suburbs where 19th century artists including Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro, Jean-Baptise-Camille Corot and most notably, Vincent Van Gogh, lived and painted. The guided visit includes the final resting cemetery of both Vincent and Theo Van Gogh, as well as a look inside the boarding house where Vincent last lived.
Head back to the ship and enjoy a lovely lunch on board.

Relax and soak up the scenery on a daytime sailing to Paris.
B) Coach to Paris for On Your Own Time
Leave the ship and take a motor coach to Paris for an afternoon of on your own time exploring the sites, shops and cafés of the city.
Say au revoir to your fellow Adventurers and new found friends as you celebrate the conclusion of an amazing adventure-filled vacation cruising along the River Seine.
