Ecological Snorkeling Expedition (Approximately 3 1/2 hours)

The tour starts right off the dock where you will board zodiacs and head to Land's End. Make sure to have your camera ready because you won't want to miss a shot of the seal colonies, window of the Pacific, Scooby-do rock, and the pregnant witch carved into a 200 foot wall of rock. From there you will head into the Sea of Cortez and given an ecological presentation on the history of the manila galleons and the pirates that used to terrorize these waters. Get a briefing on the plant and animal life, climate, and the area itself as you arrive in Santa Maria Bay. Here you will be allowed to snorkel in the crystal clear waters of this protected national preserve and swim amongst over 50 species of exotic fish and marine wildlife. After you have wrapped up there a 5 minute boat ride will wisk you over to Chileno Bay where you'll have another snorkeling adventure. The whole snorkel time will be about 1 1/2 hours depending on the sea conditions. After that it'll be time to say goodbye to the Sea of Cortez and head back to the pier.
