aboard the state of the art, 100 foot catamaran
Kaleidescope! You are in for a big treat as you
take a 2 hour cruise past the breathtaking beaches,
landscapes and coastal hotels of the Sea of Cortez
and the Pacific Ocean. Keep in mind that the peak
whale watching season is December through March.
This is when you can see on average six different
species of whales swimming through the Gulf. And
if you aren't content just watching, the Kaleidescope
has it's own hydrophone so that you can listen
in on the sounds of these magnificent marine mammals
as they communicate back and forth (hey, that
one's talking about you!). Your Captain will give
you information on the things that you see and
you will also have the opportunity to visit the
Los Arcos area and the sea lion's colony (which
is home to hundreds of sea lions located just
off of Lovers Beach).
