AND RECREATION:
The
main pool area is found on the 3 ½ acre Ol'
Man Island. Here you'll find a 12,980 square foot
pool with a water slide, a spa, a children’s
wading pool and a playground. Lifeguards, flotation
devices (for sale or rent) and pool towels are
found at the main pool. Five quiet pools are
spread
throughout the resort area. There are change
rooms/restroom facilities at each pool area.
TIP:
Guests of Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside
are welcome to use the pool
facilities at its sister resort next door, Disney's
Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter, as well.
Besides
swimming, there are many other "water-related" activities
to be found here. Get a cane pole and some
bait and fish for catfish, bluegill and bass
at the Fishin' Hole, a catch and release pond.
A 2-hour guided fishing excursion down the
Sassagoula
River, can be reserved at Guest Services. The
use of rods, reels, tackle and a beverage are
included in the fee.
Boat and
paddleboat rentals are also available. Take your
own tour of the Sassagoula River with some of
the watercraft that is rented at the marina.

(for 1-6 passengers, $21.50 for half an hour/$43
for 1 hour)
Pontoon boats (for 1-10 passengers, $30.00 for
half an hour/$60 for 1 hour)
Paddle boats (for 1-4 passengers, $6.36 for half
an hour/$10.60 for 1 hour)
Kayaks (for 1-2 passengers, $6.36 for half an
hour/$10.60 for 1 hour)
Canoes (for 1-2 passengers, $6.36 for half an
hour/$10.60 for 1 hour)
All prices include tax and are subject to change.
Renting
a bicycle, single, tandem or Surrey bike to tour
the riverside path to Port Orleans is loads of
fun. Offered for your pleasure are:
Standard
bicycles ($6 per hour/$14 per day)
Alley Cats
(bike with child trailers - $9 per hour/$17 per
day)
Surrey Bikes
(2 seaters - $16/half hour or 4 seaters - $18/half
hour)
Helmets
are also available upon request.
From 7 a.m.
until 12:30 a.m., video game enthusiasts will
enjoy the Medicine Show Arcade is found in the
main building featuring state-of-the-art video
and arcade games.
