and Spanish cultures collide deep inside the tropical
savannah of the Yucatan Peninsula and it is here
for you to discover! You will take a tendered
ferry into Playa Del Carmen where your guide will
lead you to your jeep and away from the civilized
world towards the southeastern side of the peninsula.
Be prepared for a bumpy ride through rough terrain
and lush, unending tropical jungle. Your first
stop in the adventure is Aktun Chen, a natural,
underground cave. You will be guided through it's
mazes and labyrinths to discover it's hidden beauties.
From there its on to Xpu-Ha beach where you will
be served a Mayan style lunch prepared over an
open grill right on the beach. Take the rest of
your day to relax, eat and enjoy the scenery until
it's time to board a ferry which will take you
back to Cozumel and your ship.
