Tulum/Xel-Ha (Approximately 6 1/2 - 7 hours

Visit a once mighty fortress of the Mayan Civilization located on one of the most beautiful stretches of of the Caribbean Sea shore. You will get there via a 45 minute, air conditioned bus ride during which time your English speaking guide will give you information on the Yucatan Peninsula and the Maya culture. When you arrive at Tulum you will be guided through the ruins of this ancient city and hear tales of fact and speculation about the mysterious Mayan culture. The tour through the city will last about 1 1/2 hours. From there you will continue on to Xel-Ha, a sheltered natural aqaurium formed by two lagoons where you can spend the rest of the day swimming, taking a tube ride through the lagoon, or relaxing in a hammock. Remember to dress comfortably, bring tennis shoes, swimming suites, and towels.

*Note: Tulum charges a $10.00 fee for the use of video cameras. This tour also has a bit of walking on unpaved terrain so wear good comfortable walking or tennis shoes.
