Cruise Lines - Deposit Policy
As
of Wednesday, February 13, 2002, Carnival Cruise
Lines will implement a new deposit policy. This
policy will go into effect for all NEW individual
bookings on all sailings. Below is the new policy:

Royal
Caribbean Deposit Policy
A
deposit must be made in order to reserve a stateroom.
For 3 & 4 night cruise vacations, a deposit
of $100 per person is required; for 7 night cruise
vacations the amount is $250 per person and for
9 nights and longer, a deposit of $450 is required.
For Exotic Destinations (Barcelona, Athens, Dubai,
Singapore, Sydney, Auckland, Honolulu) the deposit
amount is $450 per person.
Royal
Caribbean Cancellation Policy
You
will receive a full refund for cancellations that
are received more than 60 days prior to sailing
(45 days for 3 & 4 night cruises). For cancellation
penalties inside that period, please note the
chart below:

Princess Cruise Line requires deposit for the
1st & 2nd passengers only.
For
cruises to Alaska and Bermuda, a deposit of $350
per person is required. For cruises to the Caribbean
and Mexico, a deposit of $250 per person is required
for 7 day cruises, and $450 per person for 10
day cruises. For European cruises, Exotic Destinations,
Panama Canal, a deposit of $600 per person is
required for cruises longer than 12 days, and
$450 per person for cruises less than 12 days.

Shoreside Excursions, and Pre-Cruise and Post-Cruise

Windstar
Deposit Policy
Immediate
deposit of $750 after December 31, 2001 (for 5-8
day and trans-Atlantic) or $1,000 (for 9+ days)
per person is required within 7 days of booking
to secure a reservation. Final payment is due
no later than 75 days prior to departure. In most
cases, we are able to provide you with travel
documents, including your cruise contract, approximately
30 days prior to departure.
Windstar
Cancellation Policy
A
full refund (except for amounts paid for Cancellation
Protection Plan) will be made for cancellations
received by Windstar at least 120 days prior to
the date on which you are to commence travel by
any mode of transportation booked through Windstar
(air, sea, or land). Guests who cancel after that
date for any reason, including medical or family
reasons, are subject to the following cancellation
fees: 119-75 days before commencing travel - $500/$750/$1,000
(deposit); 74-30 days before commencing travel
- 50% of gross fare; 29-0 days before commencing
travel - 100% of gross fare.
